Cancellation & Late Policy

What is your cancellation policy? . . .

Our clinic has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel late, you will be charged $60. If you no show to an appointment, you will be charged 100% of fee. Failure to pay this fee can prevent you from booking future appointments.

Please notify our clinic if you know you will late to your appointment. We will wait 10 minutes.

This is my first visit, how can I prepare?

Your first appointment at our clinic will last roughly 90 minutes. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to check in. You will need to bring a photo ID and/or your insurance card.

We understand that traffic can be frustrating and something unexpected can occur. Please notify our clinic by calling 310-855-7505 if you will be running late. We will wait for 10 minutes.

We accept PPO insurances and submit bills for you on your behalf.

Is acupuncture painful?

Acupuncture is not a painful procedure but also not sensation free. During treatment, you may feel sensations such as numbness, soreness, heaviness, dull ache, sharp prick, tingling or small electric shock. These sensations are normal and represent the “arrival of Qi” or “deqi".” They alert your acupuncturist that the point is active and that your body is responding. However, if you ever are not comfortable during a treatment, don’t be shy to speak up.”
